You can leave the mintupgrade tool for future upgrades, as it’s not strictly necessary to remove it. However, if you’re concerned about system resources or want to keep your system clean, you may choose to uninstall it after completing your upgrades.

In reply to rakesh. @rakesh, You can try using the Software Manager or Synaptic Package Manager to search for and install 'BIOS repair,' 'Matrix,' and any other missing software.

After upgrading to Linux Mint 22, additional new software such as BIOS repair, Matrix, etc., was not installed.
