While it’s true that BitLocker is a native encryption option for NTFS on Windows, using LUKS encryption has its own advantages, especially for those who prefer or primarily use Linux.

If you’re using NTFS, you might as well set up BitLocker under Windows, since Linux can also decrypt BitLocker-encrypted drives.
